Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Scooby Arts & Crafts (“we”, “us”) is a small handmade business in Windsor, Ontario. This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect through scoobyartsandcrafts.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with Canada’s privacy law, PIPEDA.

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you ordered.
  • Accounts: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
  • Messages and quote requests: what you send through our contact and quote forms, such as your name, organization, email, phone and group details.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
  • Reviews: your name, review and any photos you choose to upload.
  • Website use: basic technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and analytics.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship and support your orders
  • To reply to your messages and send quotes
  • To send order updates and, if you ask for them, newsletters (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • To ask for a review after your order (you can ignore or opt out)
  • To keep the website secure and improve it

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the shop, such as our website host (Hostinger), payment processor (Stripe), shipping carriers, our email newsletter service (Hostinger Reach), and website tools like Google Analytics and the Google Translate language picker. They may process information outside Canada, and they’re required to protect it.

Social media and messaging

We have Facebook and Instagram pages (@scoobyartsandcrafts), and you can also reach us on WhatsApp. If you follow, like, comment on, message or tag us there, Meta also handles that information under its own privacy policy. We only use it to reply to you and run our pages.

If you tag us in a photo of your child’s artwork, for example for our Share Your Masterpiece offer, we may reshare it with credit. Just let us know if you’d like it taken down.

When we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta decides who sees them based on general settings we choose, such as location and interests. We don’t upload our customer lists to Meta.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your language and preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the shop, such as the cart, may not work. We also use your browser’s storage to remember small things, like whether you’ve closed the tips from Scooby, our shop dog.

Children

Our products are made for kids, but our website and checkout are meant for parents, guardians and organizations. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. Photos in our kids’ gallery are shared only with a parent’s permission, using first names at most.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes, and other information only as long as we need it.
